Mason County Community Foundation

What is the Mason County Community Foundation (MCCF)?

MCCF is OUR Community’s Foundation. A nonprofit public charity formed by local citizens, we build permanent, dedicated resources to benefit Mason County residents, causes, and nonprofit organizations now and far into the future. We create permanent charitable funds called endowments that supply resources to make grants for important community needs and scholarships for local students.

Mason County Community FoundationWe are managed by a local advisory committee of Mason County citizens. We are an affiliate organization of the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF), a well-respected local Foundation that has delivered charitable resources to our region since 1963. Our affiliate relationship brings us shared administrative and investment services, including professional staff expertise, while letting us focus exclusively on developing resources for our county – Mason County – and our unique needs and vision of our future. MCCF provides a lasting, local, flexible, and easy way to support our community. A public charity, MCCF is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; our donors receive the maximum possible tax advantages for gifts.
